AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, S23+, S23 prices in India announced with discount offers

Samsung on Thursday announced what the new Galaxy S23 series would cost in India. Hours after launching the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 in India and elsewhere, Samsung has revealed the prices, as well as various offers that will sweeten the purchase. The pre-booking of the Galaxy S23 series phones has begun, while the sale date is not clear right now.

Before I tell you the offers and the prices, it is worth noting that Samsung has reserved some exclusive models for the online sale only. If you buy the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from the Samsung website, you can choose from four additional colours, Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue. Pre-booking, however, is live on both online and offline platforms.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, S23+, and S23 prices in India

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra costs Rs 1,24,999 for the 12GB/256GB version, Rs 1,34,999 for the 12GB/512GB model, and Rs 1,54,999 for the 12GB/1TB variant. This phone will be universally available in Phantom Black, Cream, and Green colours, but online orders will allow you to choose from four aforementioned colours.

The Galaxy S23+, on the other hand, costs Rs 94,999 and Rs 1,04,999 for the 8GB/256GB and 8GB/512GB models, respectively. This phone comes in Phantom Black and Cream colours with no additional options. The Galaxy S23, finally, costs Rs 74,999 for the 8GB/128GB version and Rs 79,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Pre-book offers

Samsung said customers pre-booking the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be eligible for the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE Classic and Galaxy Buds 2 discount where both devices will be available for Rs 4,999. If you pre-book the Galaxy S23+, you become eligible for the Galaxy Watch 4 BT at a discounted price of Rs 4,999. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy S23 will get storage upgrade offers worth Rs 5,000.

Besides, customers buying any phone will be eligible for a cashback worth Rs 8,000 on using bank cards. Customers booking any Galaxy S23 series phone during Samsung Live, slated to take place later today, will get additional gift of Wireless Charger and Travel Adapter.
