AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. Despite being a late entrant, the Modi government has been courting investments into India’s nascent chip sector to establish its credentials as a chipmaking hub. Motorola Moto E13 could be priced aggressively in India

Motorola has set a release date for the Motorola Moto E13 in India. The smartphone will go official on February 8 in the entry-level segment. It is expected to come with a large display, a big battery, and Android 13 Go Edition OS.

Now, tipster Debayan Roy has shared the price range of the phone. It appears that Motorola will be aggressive with the pricing of the Moto E13 making it compete with the likes of Poco C50, Realme C31, and others.

Motorola Moto E13 price in India, colors, and availability

The Motorola Moto E13 is tipped to start between Rs 6,499 and Rs 6,999. The device will have two RAM options – 2GB and 4GB along with 64GB of internal storage.

Upon launch, the device will compete against the likes of Poco C50, Samsung Galaxy M04, Realme C31, Redmi A1, Tecno Pova 4, and Infinix Note 12i.

The Moto E13 will arrive in three different color options, namely, Cosmic Black, Aurora Green, and Creamy White.

The device will be sold via the Flipkart shopping website. We expect the device to go on sale immediately after the launch on February 8.

Motorola Moto E13 specifications

The Motorola Moto E13 will come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display featuring an HD+ resolution. It will be a water-drop notch panel without any sort of fast refresh rate support.

It will boast a single camera on the rear as well as on the front. There will be a 13MP main lens on the back assisted by an LED flash unit. Upfront, it is said to have a 5MP selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset paired with 2GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will house a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

Other highlights of the phone will be the IP52 rating and Dolby Atmos speaker setup. The phone will boot on the latest Android 13 Go Edition.
