AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. iQOO Neo 7 5G India price along with offers leaked before launch this week

iQOO Neo 7 5G is scheduled to go official on February 16 in India. Ahead of its launch, the pricing details of the higher-end variant were revealed. Now, the tipster Abhishek Yadav has leaked the price of the base variant including offers.

It appears that the iQOO Neo 7 5G will launch at an aggressive price in India. Upon launch, the device will go against phones from Poco, Realme, Redmi, and Samsung.

iQOO Neo 7 5G India price, variants, and expected colors

The iQOO Neo 7 5G is tipped to launch at an offer price of Rs 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. This will be the price including bank offers. The price without offers could be close to Rs 30,000.

The phone’s 12GB + 256GB variant is said to cost Rs 30,999 with offers. The price without offers for this variant could be Rs 34,999.

iQOO will launch the phone in two color options – Interstellar Black and Frost Blue. It is expected to go on sale next week, following its launch later this week on February 16.

If rumors are to be believed the phone may go on sale on February 19 or February 20.

iQOO Neo 7 5G specifications and features

The iQOO Neo 7 5G is expected to come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. iQOO will likely offer some gaming-centric features on the display such as a higher touch-sampling rate.

It will be powered by the Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone was spotted on AnTuTu scoring 8,62,438 points. It was also seen on Wildlife Extreme Stress Test scoring 1,793 as the best loop score with 99.4 percent stability.

As for cameras, It will feature a triple camera system with a 64MP main lens and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. Upfront, it will have a 16MP selfie snapper.

The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. It will boot on Android 13 OS out of the box with FunTouchOS 13 on top.
