AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. iQOO Neo 7 5G AnTuTu, Geekbench, and 3D Mark results show impressive performance

iQOO will take wraps off the iQOO Neo 7 5G on February 16 in India. Ahead of its launch, the benchmarks of the phone have been revealed.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G was benchmarked on AnTuTu, Geekbench, and 3D Mark giving us an idea of its performance.

iQOO Neo 7 5G benchmarks reveal the performance of Dimensity 8200 SoC

iQOO Neo 7 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is a new addition to MediaTek’s mid-range lineup of chips. The benchmark scores of the phone reveal how the Dimensity 8200 inside the phone offers an edge over other mid-range chips such as the Snapdragon 870 and predecessor Dimensity 8100.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G scores 8,62,438 points on AnTuTu, which is way higher than the predecessor iQOO Neo 6’s 7,28,976 points. On the other hand, the older Dimensity 8100 chipset, scores only 7,10,269 points on AnTuTu.

When it comes to Geekbench, the Neo 7 with Dimensity 8200 reaches almost 1,000 points in the single-core department and nears 4,000 points in the multi-core department. The Dimensity 8100 and Snapdragon 870 lag behind with less than 3,500 multi-core points on the same platform.

On 3D Mark’s Wildlife Extreme Stress Test, the device scores 1,793 as the best loop score while maintaining 99.4 percent stability. The Snapdragon 870 gets 84.4 percent in stability, whereas, the Dimensity 8100 is just behind its successor at 99 percent stability.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G also shows consistent results in the CPU Throtilling test. In games like New State and COD, it has high graphics and higher FPS support.

iQOO Neo 7 5G expected specifications

The iQOO Neo 7 5G is expected to come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature a triple camera system with a 64MP main lens and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. It will have a 16MP selfie snapper.

It will be powered by the Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
