AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. OnePlus 11R 5G confirmed to come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 100W fast charging support

OnePlus is all set to host its Cloud 11 launch event on February 7 globally. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed the specifications and details of the upcoming OnePlus 11R 5G. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, just like OnePlus 10T. It is further confirmed that it will come with a vapor chamber cooling system “covering a surface area 63.8% larger than the OnePlus 10 Pro’s vapor chamber”.

OnePlus 11R 5G specifications

OnePlus 11R 5G is confirmed to come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 16GB RAM and a 120Hz Super Fluid Display with ADFR 2.0. In terms of battery, the smartphone will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OnePlus claims that the battery can charge from 1 to 100 percent in just 25 minutes.

As per the company, “The OnePlus 11R 5G empowers every gamer with a refined fast and smooth experience, backed with the promise of powerful hardware and intuitive software.”

As per the previous reports, the smartphone is likely to feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that might house a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. For photography, the smartphone might come with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP Sony IMX890 main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the smartphone is likely to come with a 16MP front camera.

As for the design, OnePlus 11R 5G comes with a circular camera module that houses a triple rear camera. It will be available in black and green colour options.

At the Cloud 11 launch event, OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus Pad, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, and OnePlus Buds Pro 2.

All these devices will now be available for purchase on Amazon India.
