AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. Despite being a late entrant, the Modi government has been courting investments into India’s nascent chip sector to establish its credentials as a chipmaking hub. ‘Noise Two’ wireless headphones launched in India with 50-hour playtime

Homegrown brand Noise on Tuesday launched ‘Noise Two’ wireless headphones as a step towards expanding its wireless BT headphones. The highlight of the headphones is that they come equipped with a 50-hour playtime and offer low latency up to 40ms for an uninterrupted audio experience.

The headphones also come with bluetooth calling functionality via its in-built speaker and microphone. Equipped with IPX5 water resistance, the device comes with four play modes and is perfect to suit an active lifestyle.

Priced at Rs 1,499, the headphones come in three exciting colours – bold black, calm white and serene blue. It is now available for purchase on the company’s official site Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra.
