AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. Android 12 rolling out for Pixels: How to download, check if your Android phone is compatible

Google unveiled its much-awaited Android 12 operating system after eight months of beta release. The tech giant announced at its Pixel Fall Launch event on Tuesday that the newly launched Android OS is now available for series of Pixel smartphones including Pixel 5a, Pixel 5, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 3, and Pixel 3 XL. The tech giant also added that the software will shortly arrive for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro devices as well.

Apart from Google devices, other smartphone manufacturers have confirmed the Android 12 rollout for their devices, including the Samsung S21 series, the OnePlus 9 series, Mi Ultra, and many others.

How to get Android 12 for Pixel devices

  1. Back up your data before installing the new OS
  2. Open settings in your Pixel smartphone
  3. Tap system
  4. Click on advanced
  5. Head to system update

  1. First, download the OTA file
  2. Boot your Pixel device into Recovery mode

  5. Enter the sideload command
  6. Reboot your phone
