AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. Despite being a late entrant, the Modi government has been courting investments into India’s nascent chip sector to establish its credentials as a chipmaking hub. Redmi Note 10T 5G to be super affordable, price in India leaks ahead of launch

Redmi Note 10T is set to launch in India on July 20. While the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is yet to confirm more details about the upcoming Redmi 5G phone, leaks and rumours have revealed some crucial information including the pricing. That’s right. A new leak coming from Xiaomi Central reveals the pricing and some of the specifications of the upcoming Redmi Note 10T smartphone.

The upcoming 5G smartphone will launch via an online launch event. Interested people will be able to watch the Redmi Note 10T online launch event live on Redmi’s official YouTube channel, social media platforms, and mi.com.

This is going to be the first Redmi phone with 5G in the country. As per the new leak, the Redmi Note 10T is going to be super affordable despite being a 5G device. The phone is tipped to launch at a starting price of Rs 14,999, which is similar to the recently launched Redmi Note 10S. The leak also suggests that the phone will come in only one variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The new leak also reveals some of the key specifications of the Redmi phone. As per the leak, the Redmi Note 10T will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As mentioned before, it is tipped that the upcoming Redmi Note will come in only one variant.

The same leak also reveals that the Redmi Note 5G phone will come packed with a 48-megapixel triple rear camera setup (paired with two 2-megapixel depth sensor and macro lens) and a 16-megapixel front camera placed inside of a punch-hole cut-out. Leak also reveals that the Redmi Note 10T will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a high refresh rate. It is tipped to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charger in the box.
