AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. Despite being a late entrant, the Modi government has been courting investments into India’s nascent chip sector to establish its credentials as a chipmaking hub. AMD said it will open its new design centre campus in Bengaluru by end of this year and create 3,000 new engineering roles within five years. “Our India teams will continue to play a pivotal role in delivering the high-performance and adaptive solutions that support AMD customers worldwide,” Papermaster said. Jio data plans: List of all Reliance Jio work from home plans offering extra data

With a lot of us still working from home during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our data consumption has skyrocketed. This can be mainly attributed to leisure time consumption, connecting with people and work. seeing this all major telecom service operators including Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) launched special work from home plans offering users special benefits like additional amount of data. Here we will be taking a look at all work from home plans that Reliance Jio currently offers in India.

Reliance Jio Rs 151 work from home plan

Under the Rs 151 plan, customers are offered 30GB of high-speed data. The plan does not include any calling or SMS benefits. Neither does it include access to any of the Jio apps. Just like all other work from home plans, this plan can be bundled with any other tariff plans to get calling, SMS and other benefits. The plan comes with a validity of 30 days.

Reliance Jio Rs 201 work from home plan

The Rs 201 plan increases the amount of data offered to 40GB. Just like the other work from home plans offered by Jio, it does not come with any calling, SMS and other benefits. It also has a validity of 30 days.

Reliance Jio Rs 251 work from home plan

The last work from home plan Jio offers is priced at Rs 251, offering 50GB of total data. The plan does not include any calling benefits, free SMSes or access to its apps. This plan also comes with a validity of 30 days.
