AMD to invest $400 million in India by 2028: Here’s what we know

US chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices said on Friday it will invest around $400 million in India over the next five years and will build its largest design center in the tech hub of Bengaluru. AMD’s announcement was made by its Chief Technology Officer Mark Papermaster at an annual semiconductor conference that started Friday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. Other speakers at the flagship event include Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra. Despite being a late entrant, the Modi government has been courting investments into India’s nascent chip sector to establish its credentials as a chipmaking hub. AMD said it will open its new design centre campus in Bengaluru by end of this year and create 3,000 new engineering roles within five years. “Our India teams will continue to play a pivotal role in delivering the high-performance and adaptive solutions that support AMD customers worldwide,” Papermaster said. GTA Online: Top 5 fastest cars: Ocelot Pariah, Grotti Itali RSX, Pfister 811 and more

Rockstar Games released its uber-popular online game, Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online back in October 2013. It’s been a long time since then, but with constant updates, new missions, the game still manages to feel fresh. One such example of fresh content is new cars introduced every now and then. Many of you will like to build your garage filled with the best vehicles the game has to offer. Here we will be taking a look at the top 5 fastest cars available in GTA Online.

However, before we start with the list, it should be noted that Rockstar Games themselves do not reveal official data about vehicle top speeds or stats. Due to which multiple players perform their own tests to figure out these numbers. This does mean that there might be some variation in the numbers but, it is not a lot. For the results listed here, we are using the top speeds recorded by YouTuber Broughy1322 who tested out all of the high-performance cars (fully upgraded models) in the game (methodology here).

Ocelot Pariah

Ocelot Pariah is priced at $1,420,000 and according to Broughy1322 is the fastest car in the game, beating the Grotti Itali RSX by a few notches. The Pariah has a top speed of 136 mph, which translates to 218.87 km/h.

Grotti Itali RSX

Grotti Itali RSX could have beat the Ocelot Pariah if conditions were better, however, it did not manage to do so, clocking in 135.30 mph (217.74 km/h). The car is priced at $3,465,000.

Pfister 811

Pfister 811 has managed to make it in the top 3 when it comes to in-game speeds. However, it ranks 4 in price, coming in at $1,135,000. The car has a top speed of 132.50 mph, which translates to 213.24 km/h.

Principe Deveste Eight

Principe Deveste Eight is definitely a looker, but looks are not all that it has got. The car can rage at a high speed of 131.75 mph (212.03 km/h) through the roads of GTA Online. Such power and looks do come at a price, making it the second most expensive car on the list after Grotti Itali RSX, priced at $1,795,000.

Bravado Banshee 900R

Mostly everyone who has played GTA Vice City would remember driving the Banshee at one point or another. The Bravado Banshee 900R is simply a supercharged version of what we then thought was the fastest car. It is also the most affordable car on the list priced at $565,000 only. The car can touch high speeds of 131 mph (210.82 km/h) when the pedal touches the metal.
